Anthony Burton is a homicide detective for the Chicago Police Department. He is also a longtime friend of Kalinda Sharma, with whom he later starts a sexual relationship with. Later, he is among the suspected corrupt officers in his drug task force who apparently conspired with gang members in dealing drugs and illegal firearms.
