Christián Romano was Jackie Florrick's caretaker. Peter Florrick hired him after Jackie's second stroke, when Alicia Florrick suggested that Jackie may feel more comfortable with male caretaker, due to previous female caretakers she fired. Christián seemed to cheer Jackie up and therefore seemed to be a good choice for her.
On Thanksgiving, he said to Peter that Jackie is special, raising Peter's suspicions.
On Peter's election night, Christian cashed the check Eli Gold gave him in order to make him step away from Jackie, but later he added to Peter that he has no intention of stepping back.
